OmniPost is a complete web-based barcode mail tracking system for all incoming and internal mail.
The OmniPost solution is a post room system designed to provide accurate real-time proof of receipt and proof of delivery for virtually any item type being delivered to and from your mailroom (internal track and trace). The process substantially increases the speed and accuracy of inbound package management, as a web-based system it is accessible and intuitive to use.

OmniPost has two core elements; the PC web-hosted application and OmniPost mobile app which is installable on any Android or iOS phone, tablet, or PDA/Scanner. OmniPost mobile application goes into the hands of the porters and the delivery teams, whether using dedicated mobile computer hardware from leading manufacturers such as Honeywell, Datalogic, Zebra or HandHeld or using new or existing smartphones or tablets, the user experience is slick, efficient and can be configured to meet the precise client needs.
The web-based PC application can be as simple or as comprehensive as suits the requirement; the configuration is in the hands of the Admin user, so no reliance on ExPD to make changes. The functions of the system include Goods In, Goods Transfers, Inspections, Postman/Allocation, Deliveries, item collections and Goods Out.
Using a digital mailroom solution will provide visibility of incoming mail, and an audit trail of every item booked in, its journey, and a final signature to confirm delivery. Numerous email alerts and reports are integral and configurable within the system.
OmniPost is GDPR compliant and has built-in functionality to manage and control personal data. The functions include auto GDPR notification attached to emails, recipients can request info and the mailroom can delete all data on request.

EASY TO USE MOBILE APP
The OmniPost mobile app is available for both Android and Apple iOS. Offering a simple and effective handheld delivery tracking tool. Synchronise delivered consignments over WIFI, updating the Web Front End instantly.
DELIVER RECEIVED MAIL
Items arrive at the mailroom, (by courier, post, staff, hand delivery, etc). The item is logged into the system (date and time stamped), the courier and service level is recorded, any special remarks noted (eg damaged box) etc.
RECORD POST TRANSFERS
Not all items which arrive in the mailroom are ready to be delivered immediately to a recipient. By using the Transfer option, items can be scanned together with scanning (as configured) the transfer location, thereby recording the new location of the item(s).
PHOTOGRAPH DAMAGED POST
Identifying an item as damaged is an essential part of the post room system. If an item is received (from the courier or internal collection) in a damaged state, you can notify through OmniPost post room system. Do the mailroom really want to refuse it?. Equally, do the post room want to accept it and then be liable for any potential damage?.

A SIMPLE, POWERFUL PROCESS
Functionality is not compromised to obtain ease of use. The system is feature-rich and extremely intuitive to use. Omnipost follows the same processes as a mailroom tracking system would use but without clipboards, pens, forms, etc.
All data pertaining to the incoming item is entered through the web interface.
Allocate recipient from list filtered by dept, tenant, faculty etc.
Unique barcode, damage photos, multiple items on the same consignment.
Enter Sender, Courier, Service Level.
Automatic email notifies the recipient of item arrival.
Mobile barcode scanners are used to record delivery of items to recipient.
Scan location barcode (desk, office, floor, person).
Scan items for delivery at location point.
Collect recipient name and signature with ‘Sign on Screen’.
Scanner updates web database with proof of delivery etc.
