During the week of the 6th July 2020, Expert Peripheral Designs (ExPD) underwent its annual audit of both ISO (International Organization for Standardisation) 9001 & 27001. Following an examination, ExPD passed both these valuable international standard certifications and the business continues to deliver the highest quality of service to its customers.
“At ExPD we take our ISO standards seriously. The staff recognise the need to work to a process, which has helped enormously during the COVID period, likewise ensuring our own data security (ISO 27001) is adhered to is critical in ensuring the safe use of both ours and our customers’ data – I am very proud of all the ExPD team, especially during these difficult times, having these certifications not only demonstrate that we care about our business, it also provides our customers with the peace of mind that we provide a professional and secure service.” – Adrian Harris (Managing Director)
ISO 27001: is an information security standard that is in place to ensure the management of the security of information for a business is under control within specific requirements. Without this, many businesses control of this can become disorganised and vulnerable.
ISO 9001: is the international standard for a quality management system (QMS). In order to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard, a company must follow the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001 Standard. The standard is used by organizations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement.
